About Me

A 22 year old lawyer, currently living in Islamabad, Pakistan. At the moment my life’s purpose is to discover different ways which will help me live my dream of travelling the world.

I would like to think of myself as following: A reader;  a thinker; a liberal. But maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.

Do I believe we have Free Will: Yes and no. I guess we would like to think that we are the masters of our own fate, but sometimes, we also like to take solace in the fact that maybe, just maybe, somethings are just meant to be.

Random facts about me: I am ambidextrous and I can speak 3 languages (English, Farsi and Urdu).

I love reading. I also tend to procrastinate at times (but who doesn’t? You don’t? Well wipe that smug smile off your face; you belong to the minority, my friend).

That’s all I can bear to reveal about my glorious self in the given space. If you are mad enough to want to know more, feel free to contact me at zara.durrani@hotmail.com

Hope my blog would at least bring a smile to your face everyday. Or something equally cliche.

    Huh… The similarities are astonishing!

I wanted to be a lawyer too, for the exact same reasons you mentioned in your other post. But then after careful research, I found out that lawyers have no say whatsoever around here. The media does. Yes it may be negative but it reaches the most people!

Hence my career change, journalism it is. Although in my grand plan I’m certainly not a girl version of Peter Parker. I’m Aang Su Kyi mixed with Martin Luther King (minority rights, not necessarily black rights). Like you say, we’ll see how THAT turns out!

Haha it’s so interesting to find similar people! I get what you’re saying. However when I say I am going to be a lawyer, I’m basically referring to studying Law (LLB). I still don’t know which profession exactly I want to pursue; you never know, I might end up being a journalist also 😉

I’ve got my dad’s law books at home (he too studied law but didn’t pursue it). I went over one or two and I was like ha yeah I don’t think so 😀

Anyway good luck. Hope you find your path soon…

Ho trovato molto interessante il tuo articolo.
Devi essere una ragazzi molto spontanea ed anche con una buona dose di umorismo.
Spero di leggere ancora quello che scrivi.
