Greetings dear reader!
As you can probably tell from my exclamation marks (and other grammatical tools) I am quite excited today. Why? Because a dear blogger Raiha, who blogs at http://livinginpak.wordpress.com/ nominated me for my very first award.
Right, so it might not be the Oscars and I probably won’t have to wear a extravagant evening gown, it’s still pretty exciting in the world of blogging, for a newbie like me.
Moving on, I have to answer 10 questions as asked by my the person who nominated me, then select about 10 bloggers with less than 200 followers (as the point of this award is to boost the popularity of the blog), and finally compose my own 10 questions for my nominees.
Let’s get started!
Q#1: Whose baby are you? Mom’s or Dad’s?
A: I’ve always been a daddy’s girl.
Q#2: Do you like children, babies, more specifically?
A: I have sort of a mixed opinion towards children. I obviously find them adorable, but I have to admit after a few hours, I’m devising plots to get them to leave/or get away myself. As for babies, they are cute, yes, but I am reluctant to have any sort of bodily contact with them (like hold them) because I fear I might break them. Yes, break them.
Q#3: Are you a cat or a dog person?
A: None, I am afraid. I am more of a panda, or a white tiger, person. I am scared of every animal. Every. Even puppies and kittens. Which is why we only had/have pets that live in a confined space, like fish. However, if I were to ever get over my fear of furry bodies touching me, I would love to keep either a panda or a tiger (white, preferably) as a pet.
Q#4: Where do you think a woman’s place is? The office or the kitchen?
A: A woman’s place is whichever she wants it to be. The office, the kitchen, the army. As long as she has the freedom to make her own choice, it doesn’t matter.
Q#5: Are you the first, middle, last or the only child?
A: I am the older of 2 children. I only have a younger brother, who is 2 years and 2 months younger to me.
Q#6: Do you exercise?
A: If I had to lie in a question, it would probably be this one. *laughs.* I don’t exercise regularly (or barely at all, whispers the voice in my head). But I swear, I intend to everyday.
Q#7: What’s worse, resisting chocolate or gaining a few pounds?
A: If I could, I would insert chocolate in my veins. Sorry for the graphic imagery. But chocolate is life. So definitely, resisting chocolate is far worse.
Q#8: Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
A: I have never really known the answer to this question. I love to go out with friends, I love dining out, I love hosting and attending parties. But I am also shy at the beginning, and there are days I love being alone and just want to stay holed up in my room with a good book. But I guess, I would call myself an extrovert.
Q#9: Do you like to read?
A: Yes, I love to read. I can’t imagine a life without books. I think a person who doesn’t read is quite unfortunate. I started reading from a very young age, courtesy to my father, and altogether we have so many books in our house that one time when we were moving homes, one of the movers asked my dad if we owned a bookshop. Seriously.
Q#10: What genre of music do you like the most?
A: Like the average person, I love music. I don’t think there’s a specific genre or type that is my favorite, but I guess songs by Coldplay are usually my favorites. Oh and although I am somewhat new to Dubstep/Trance, I am becoming a huge fan!
